Rest In Peace, K9 Obi
Obi, a K9 officer for the Covington Police Department, passed over the Rainbow Bridge last week. We’ve known Obi since he first came to CPD and have enjoyed his visits over the years.
It has been a sad week for us, but we know that his passing has been so much harder on his family at CPD, for his handler and the handler’s family where he enjoyed his retirement.
Obi’s memorial service is Wednesday, April 22nd at the Covington Police Department at 2:30 pm. We will be closing the clinic for an extended lunch break (1-4pm) in order for all of us to attend his service.
We wish Obi many rides in patrol cars, treats, spa days and playing to a dog that is one of our own. Please keep his handler and family in your thoughts.
